Clarence Sheldon Hill, Jr., age 80, of Willings Lane, Hellertown PA, died Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Bethlehem PA. He was the Husband of Ruth B. (Brunault) Hill. The couple celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary last July.

Born in Torrington CT, he was the son of the late Clarence S. Hill, Sr. and Elsie M. (Weber) Hill. He was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corp for 42 years as Senior Sales Assistant in the Hot/Cold Rolled Sheet Sales Division, retiring in 1984. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a Member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA were he was a past Deacon.

He was also a Member of the Hellertown Lions Club, currently serving as Chaplain and was Past President; the Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown; the F & A.M. Lodge, Bethlehem PA; an Avid Golfer with the Main Office Bethlehem Municipal Golf League; an Avid Bowler with the Bethlehem Steel Main Office Bowling League; the Disabled American Veteran Association; the Southeastern Volunteer Fire Company, Lower Saucon Township PA; the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397, Hellertown PA; and the Dewey Fire Company, Hellertown PA.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Sandra J., wife of Ronald G. Ruth of Thorndale PA and Linda R., wife of Stephen F. Riley of Ipswich MA; Sister, Doris T. Panebianco of Allentown PA; and 4 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2003 in the First United Church of Christ, 501 Northampton Street, Hellertown PA. There will be no calling hours. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.
